The design's architecture reflects the philosophy of the Augsburg Innovation Park. The building, a green arch, forms the entrance to the Innovation Park and has the potential to become a landmark. With its maximum flexibility in the floor plans, a very good ratio of facade area to floor area, and an innovative building services concept, the project's sustainability approach serves as a guiding principle for the Innovation Park.

The high quality of the landscape design underscores the landmark character of the planning proposal and has the potential to become a symbol of the Innovation Park.

The combination of intensive green roofs with the use of PV modules is not only energy-efficient but also architecturally integrated thanks to the arched shape.

A world premiere is the façade made out of 100% recycled aluminum. Due to this pioneering circularity-concept alone, far more than 500 tonnes of CO2 have been saved during the construction process.

The project received certification in compliance with the LEED environmental label in Platinum.

"The Augsburg Innovation Arch embodies inspiration, talent, and courage combined for the development of reason and prosperity, as a prerequisite for the positive development of human culture. This and nothing less is what the project stands for."
